The main landing gear touches down first during an aircraft landing because it is located closer to the aircraft's center of gravity, providing better stability and control during the landing process. This allows the aircraft to maintain a straight and stable path as it slows down and comes to a stop. Additionally, the main landing gear is designed to handle the majority of the aircraft's weight, making it better equipped to absorb the impact of the landing and support the aircraft as it rolls out on the runway. Finally, the main landing gear also helps to prevent the nose of the aircraft from pitching down too quickly, ensuring a smoother and safer landing for passengers and crew. **

From 5th gear, the next gear in most manual transmission vehicles is 6th gear. However, some vehicles may have additional gears beyond 6th, such as 7th or 8th gear. The higher gears are typically used for cruising at high speeds on highways to improve fuel efficiency and reduce engine strain. **

It is not recommended to use fifth gear when driving uphill, as it may strain the engine and cause it to work harder than necessary. It is better to downshift to a lower gear, such as third or fourth, to maintain a steady speed and prevent the engine from overworking. This will also provide better control and power when driving uphill. **
